Undergraduate Students: We welcome highly motivated undergraduate students, who may find suitable projects from our interdisciplinary research portfolio ranging from material characterizations, imaging analysis, mechanical testing and analysis, mechanical design of testing devices, etc. We encourage undergraduate students to publish their research results.

 

 

Prospective PhD and Master Students: We welcome extremely motivated students to join us.
 

* Solid background in mechanical properties of materials, composite mechanics

* Experiences in experimental mechanics such as nanoindentation

* Experiences in numerical simulation tools such as Abaqus and Comsol preferred

* Experiences in materials characterizations, such as TEM, EBSD, and micro-CT

* Experiences in material fabrication, such as 3D printing and nano-/micro-particle assembly
